Home For The Holidays!

We had a great Christmas this year. We were able to spend time with both of our families. We started our with Dustin's family for Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. On Christmas Eve we went to visit Dustin's grandpa. Santa Claus even came while we were there. Then that night we ate dinner with the family and played games for awhile. I think Dustin was more excited than most kids for Christmas morning. He wanted to set his alarm to wake up at 5 in the morning but I put a stop to that. We got to sleep until 6:30. We had a fun time opening presents with Dust's family. Thanks for all the gifts. Then we had to leave a little earlier than planned to drive up to spend time with my family. It is a good thing we left becuase we missed the big storm. We had to go slow in some places but it was good for the most part. When we got to Plain City we went to my Grandma Schumers with the whole family to eat lunch and open presents. We spent some time there then went to my parents to open the rest of our presents. On Friday I was able to go to lunch with the girls. We went to Maddox. It was fun to catch up on everything and spend time together. Dust got a new gun for Christmas so we went out on Saturday to shoot it. We also shot clay pigeons. It was really fun. A lot of our family came out to shot as well. Overall, we had a great Christmas vacation. It went way to quick though. We start school again this coming week, so that means back to homework. The good news is I only have class for 3 weeks this semester then my student teaching the rest. It is so exciting to be just about done with school.
