Semester Break!!

It was so nice to have a break from work and school. It was definitely needed. We actually got to start our break a couple days early. On Tuesday after school we drove up to Delta to spend one last night with Sam because on Wednesday we dropped him off at the MTC. We are excited for Sam but will definitely miss him.

After we said goodbye to Sam we were off to spend the rest of the week in Plain City with my family. My parents both took the rest of the week off so we were able to do lots of fun things with them. On Wednesday we got to go visit my grandma and see Cody and Angie's new house. Then on Thursday I was real brave and chopped my hair off. It has taken some getting used to but I love it now. On Thursday night I got to go to dinner with my friends for Ashlee's birthday. It was fun to visit with all of them. While I was at dinner Dustin was nice enough to help my parents replace the lights in the kitchen. Friday was our big trip to Salt Lake. We got to ride the Frontrunner down which was so nice. We avoided all the crazy traffic. We spent the day at the Gateway shopping and we went to lunch. Shopping is always fun when parents are buying. Ha ha! On Saturday we got up and went skeet shooting. It is always fun to spend time doing something we love to do. I thought the shooting was over but that evening I went outside and saw Dustin, my mom and dad acting like rednecks. They had set some tomatoes and squash on a pile of dirt and were shooting at them with a BB gun. It was quite the sight. Then Saturday night we ROCKED OUT. My mom won Rock Band at her school a few weeks ago. So my mom and dad and Dustin and I stayed up until 1 in the morning jammin on the drums and guitar. By the end we were actually getting pretty good. We really enjoyed our semester break spending time with family. Thanks to Dustin's parents and mine for all that they do for us. We really do have the greatest family.
